Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Korea met Chairman & CEO of KOIMA
18.02.2020 г.Оn February 18, 2020 H.E. Mr. Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea met H.E. Mr. Hong Kwang-hee, Chairman & CEO of Korea Importers Association (KOIMA).
KOIMA was established in 1970 as a business association of the Republic of Korea which aims to facilitate imports into the country from abroad, it has over 8,000 members.
The sides exchanged their views on the ways to increase trade volume between the two countries, including the outcomes of the KOIMA mission to Belarus in 2018 and plans for other bilateral business events.
Mr. Andrei Popkov noted the importance to stregnten direct ties between Belarusian and Korean counterparts, proposed to take part in international exhibitions in Minsk in 2020 and expressed its gratitude for the opportunity to annually participate in Import Goods Fair organized by KOIMA in COEX exhibition center (Seoul).
Mr. Hong Kwang-hee confirmed the continuous KOIMA support for B2B matching between Belarusian and Korean interested companies and organizations and business information exchange.
