The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea took part in the Seoul Friendship Festival, held on October 22-23, 2022.

Within the World Music Stage program of the festival, the daughter of an Embassy employee performed Mikhail Oginsky's polonaise “Farewell to the Motherland” on the violin. This polonaise was written on the territory of the modern Grodno region of Belarus.

During the festival, three Belarusian ladies living in the Republic of Korea performed two Belarusian folk songs.

Belarusian performances provided to the residents and guests of Seoul the opportunity to hear a wonderful musical composition and popular Belarusian folk songs.

Seoul Friendship Festival (SFF) has been held annually since 1996 and is the largest multicultural festival in the country. In 2020, the event was cancelled, in 2021 it was held online. Before the pandemic, the Belarusian side repeatedly took part in the SFF. In total, 47 diplomatic missions, including the Embassy of Belarus, took part in SFF 2022.
