About the tragic incident in Itaewon disrtict
30.10.2022 г.Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrew Chernetsky:
“I am shocked of what happened in Itaewon. I deeply mourn the dead and wish fast recovery to the injured. Back in 1999, in Belarus there was a similar tragedy, 54 people died in the stampede at the concert that time. So I understand and share the great grief for Korea”.
More than 150 people died in the Itaewon crowd crush on October 29, 2022, icluding more than 25 foreigners. There are no victims or injured among Belarus nationals.
