Ambassador meets Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs

On the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission H.E. Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea met with H.E. Yeo Seung Bae, Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting took place on October 6, 2021 in the Deputy Minister’s office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

Both sides exchanged their views on the current status of Belarus-Korea cooperation in political, economic, innovative areas, discussed bilateral visits and events for celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries (February 2022).

Two diplomats shared opinions on the situation in North-East Asia, including the ways to ensure sustainable peace on the Korean peninsula.
