Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Korea discussed prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation

On February 3, 2021, H.E. Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea held a meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Unification of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Song Young-gil.

Both parties noted the need to develop interaction on a wide range of issues, including cooperation in the field of innovations, digital economy, high technologies, promotion of contacts between small and medium-sized businesses of Belarus and Korea.
 

The parties exchanged views on the prospects of further development of bilateral legal framework. Priorities of inter-parliamentary cooperation and plans for 2021-2022 were also discussed during the meeting.
