Ambassador of Belarus A.Popkov meets the Chief Executive of the National Library of Korea
04.01.2018 г.On December 28, 2017 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Popkov held a meeting with the Chief Executive of the National Library of Korea Park Joohwan.
To commemorate the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book printing during the meeting a unique 21-volume facsimile edition “Book heritage of Francysk Skaryna” was donated to the Library. Ambassador A.Popkov emphasized the significancy of F.Skaryna's legacy for the culture of Belarus and other Estern European states and expressed his hope for further strengthening and development of the cooperation with the National Library of Korea.
