Ambassador of Belarus to the Republic of Korea and First Deputy Minister of Communication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus meet President of the National Information Society Agency (NIA), Deputy Minister of Science & ICT

Оn November 15, 2018 H.E. Mr. Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, and Mr. Dmitry Shedko, First Deputy Minister of Communinication and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, met with Mr. Moon Yong-sik, President of the National Information Society Agency (NIA) during the «2018 Global ICT Leadership Forum».
The two sides discussed the current state of projects implementation within the framework of Belarus-Korea IT cooperation center opened in Minsk in March 2017 and shared views on prospects to extend existing ties for the years to come. NIA was invited to take part at TIBO International ICT Forum to be held in Minsk in March, 2019.
During the event Ambassador Andrei Popkov discussed with Mr. Jang Seokyoung, Deputy Minister Science & ICT of the Republic of Korea, promising areas of cooperation in the field of ICT and digital economy, as well as various mechanisms of the implementation of joint projects.
