Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea meets the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Association Korea – Belarus
27.12.2018 г.On December 26, 2018 H.E. Mr. Andrei Popkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea met Mr. Lee Won Wook, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Association Korea – Belarus of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting the sides highlighted the development of interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries in the outgoing year. Mr. Andrei Popkov stressed the importance of the visit of Korean delegation headed by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Association Korea – Belarus to Minsk earlier this year to boost the ties between the two National Assemblies. Furthermore he pointed out the participation of Mr. Lee Won Wook at the business Belarus – Korea round-table organized on September 5, 2018 in Seoul.
The two sides also discussed the plans to further expand the cooperation between the Parliaments of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korean for the coming year.
